HOW IMPORTANT ARE YOUR MORNINGS???
🔴How does the beginning of your day look like?
🔴Here are some pointers to help you start right.
1️⃣𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐔𝐏 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘:
🔴The first thing you do each day is wake up.
🔴Getting up early puts you on the right track and allows you to get ahead of the
rush hour.
🔴People that accomplish a lot during the day get up early inthe morning.
🔴The Bible says ofJesus that He rose early before dawn to pray (Mark 1:35).
2️⃣𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃:
🔴Starting your day with prayer andmeditation provides you withstrength as well as inspiration and
insight.
🔴Build yourself up by praying in the Holy Ghost!
🔴Study the Rhapsody of Realities; personal moments when you give yourself to studying God’s Word and take note of what He says.
3️⃣𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒:
🔴Over the years, Pastor Chris has shown us the importance of confession.
🔴While getting up early has its advantages, what you do with that extra time is equally essential; the first thing is not to check the newspapers or social media.
4️⃣𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐓𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘:
🔴Schedule your day by writing out your basic plan for the day;focusing on the activities that produce results and assigning a time limit to each task you have planned for the day.
🔴Keep track of how long each task will take and make a conscious effort to do it within the allotted time.
5️⃣𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐃 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒:
🔴The little time you think you spend on social media feeds, instant messages, an email, and other such activities adds up to a significant amount of time.
🔴Avoid unnecessary chats and conversations especially when you have tasks at hand.
🔴Avoid the temptation to do 'just one more' of that item you're not supposed to be doing at a certain time, because 'just one' could quickly turn into many.
6️⃣𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐀 𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄:
🔴It actually takes some time to make changes.
🔴If you miss it the first few times, don’t quit trying.
🔴Work on being consistent at it, keep at it.
🔴For example, suppose you skipped prayers on the second morning;keep going on the third and fourth days; and so on! You'll notice that you've made a lot of progress in no time.
